The pocket knife is a knife of Spanish origin. It is mainly characterized by being a folding knife, with its blade rotating until it is hidden inside the handle itself. Although the pocket knife, as a type of knife, already existed in Spain in pre-Roman times, that is, more than 3000 years ago, it was not until the 16th century that it reached its maximum popularity. This happened due to the prohibition by Charles I of carrying long-bladed weapons.
