Valiant, the brave son of Aguar, King of Thule, is dispossessed of his throne by the usurper Sligon. Valiant, his family, and a few followers settle in the swamps of the English coast after being exiled by Cynan, the Conqueror.

The young prince, deeply saddened by this defeat and vengeful towards Cynan, tries to make the most of his new life, but longs for some greater purpose. He realizes his purpose when he has a series of dreams about a kingdom called Camelot, King Arthur, Merlin, and the Knights of the Round Table.

Valiant becomes passionate about Camelot and the New Order, which is based on ideals by which truth, justice, honor, and friendship should be the guiding forces of the people in their relations with others.

Valiant's first adventures take place in the swamps. Against his father's wishes, Valiant leaves the swamps in search of Camelot to serve King Arthur as a Knight of the Round Table after saving the life of the knight Sir Gawain, whom he serves as a squire, later becoming a Knight of the Round Table, standing out for the bravery that gives him his name.

Famous is his sword that he used in countless battles, and on which can be read:

"Invincible is he who uses me for a good cause."

His exploits have been recognized in different legends, books, comics, and movies.
