This mythical limited edition "Sword of the Catholic Monarchs" is a replica of the ceremonial sword used by Ferdinand of Aragon and Isabella of Castile, better known as "the Catholic Monarchs".

Within the History of Spain, it is one of the most spectacular swords.

This is the mythical sword with which Kings Ferdinand and Isabella knighted Christopher Columbus after his return from his first voyage to America. In the Throne Room of the Royal Palace of Barcelona, Columbus was named “Admiral of the Ocean” and “Viceroy of the Indies”.

This "ceremonial" sword was used as a "Standard Bearer" in all religious ceremonies or significant public acts of their reign, such as the Conquest of Granada and the beginning of Spain as a Nation.

Interesting details: The cross bears the inscription TANTO MONTA - MONTA TANTO enameled in blue (Isabella as Ferdinand). The blade is engraved in gold with the quartered heraldic shield diagonally. The quarters, in turn, are quartered, with the kingdoms of Castile and Leon on Isabella of Castile's side and the other quarters are divided into two with the heraldry of the kingdom of Aragon, on King Ferdinand's side.

At the beginning of the blade there is a pomegranate, a symbol of the kingdom of Granada; the engravings of the Arrows and the Yoke complete the heraldry.

The Catholic Monarchs, by express wish, were buried in Granada.
