Formation of the Samurai Government; Minamoto no Yoritomo dismissed the Heike clan and moved his administrative base to Kamakura, organizing a form of government based on the Samurai regime, known as the "Kamakura Shogunate". Yoritomo was appointed Shogun (General) by the Emperor, granting him the power to appoint his own vassals, establishing the political feudal system "Samurai Government".
With the growth of this feudal system, based on personal loyalty, the most famous Japanese warrior of all time emerged, "The Samurai". For the Samurai, the "Katana" sword is the most important thing and when it is in their hands, it houses their soul. Only Samurai were allowed to carry the supreme weapons of Japanese warfare: "Katanas", swords that were wielded with two hands and were an object of almost sacred veneration.
